Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how [legal entity / trading name] trading as Zone 14 ("we", "us") collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It includes specific commitments about children's information, because some Zone 14 programs are for young players (including our Square One clinic for 3–6 year olds).
1 · What we collect
- Contact & account details — name, email, and (for coaches) login credentials in hashed form.
- Order & booking details — items, sizes, sessions/programs booked, and order history.
- Participant details for coaching — a child or player's name, age/age group, and any medical or safety information a parent chooses to share so we can run sessions safely.
- Payment information — processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation and limited details (such as the last four digits and card brand); we do not store full card numbers.
- Messages you send through our contact or enquiry forms.
- Technical data — basic, standard web server and security information (such as IP address for rate-limiting and fraud protection).
2 · Children's information
- Enrolments and purchases for children are made by a parent or guardian, who provides the child's information and consents to its use for running the program.
- We collect only what we need to deliver coaching safely (identity, age group, and any medical/consent details you choose to give).
- We do not create logins for children through the store, and we do not use children's information for marketing.
- A parent or guardian may access, correct or request deletion of their child's information at any time (see section 7).
3 · How we use it
- To process orders and payments, deliver kit, and run coaching sessions and programs.
- To create and manage coach platform accounts and provide support.
- To send transactional messages (order confirmations, receipts, booking details, password resets).
- To keep the Site secure and prevent fraud.
- To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.
We only send marketing or newsletter emails to people who have opted in, and every such email includes an unsubscribe option.
4 · Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run Zone 14, and only as needed:
- Stripe — payment processing (stripe.com/privacy).
- Netlify — website hosting and secure data storage for accounts and orders.
- Resend — sending transactional email.
- ImprovMX — forwarding email sent to our domain.
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect safety.
5 · Overseas disclosure
Some providers above store or process data outside Australia (for example, in the United States or European Union). Where this happens we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the APPs.
6 · Security and retention
- Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing; sessions use signed, secure cookies; the Site is served over HTTPS.
- We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, then delete or de-identify it.
7 · Your rights — access, correction, deletion
You may ask us to access or correct your personal information, or to delete your (or your child's) information, by emailing scott@zone14football.com. We will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to verify your identity first, and some information may be retained where the law requires.
8 · Cookies
The Site uses only the storage it needs to work — for example, keeping your shopping bag and your coach login session on your device. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
9 · Complaints
If you have a privacy concern, contact us first at scott@zone14football.com. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

We may update this Policy; the current version is always on this page with its "last updated" date.
