A UEFA Pro Licence coach and Technical Director, Scott has built his career across Scotland, England, the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Australia — from academy roles at Motherwell, Newcastle United, Dundee United and Celtic's International Academy to senior posts at Al Ain, Al Hilal and Fremantle City.

He now leads technical development and elite player pathways for the Southern Zone at Football Northern Territory — driving talent identification, coach education and high-performance environments across Central Australia, from grassroots to elite. He holds a Doctor of Education and a first-class honours degree in Physical Education.

At 14 I stepped into the Stormbirds MPL set-up and was handed the U14 junior side. I captained the MPL team at 16, then took on a player-coach role at 17 when the side was rebuilt around players from our own system — developing youth and giving them a chance every single season.

Three grand finals in three years delivered the first MPL trophy in Stormbirds history on the third attempt, alongside winning the league. We then made history again, progressing past the Central Australian finals to Darwin in the Australia Cup for the first time in the club's MPL history. In that period I travelled with the Central Australian Emerging Socceroos squad to Darwin to compete in trials, ran regular training, and coached school clinics across Alice Springs and the FNT academy.
